Ik begrijp even niet waarom je nog XP in die alweer iets oudere bolide van jou hebt zitten.
XP kan niet bepaald goed omgaan met multicore processoren, daarvoor is XP al te oud!
Advies: ga over op Windows 7 x64.

Ik ben xp al jaren gewend, ben al overgesprongen, 2 maal, naar windows 7 maar het went niet.
Mijn zusje, digibeet eerste klasse, heeft jaren XP gebruikt.
Maar heeft vanaf dag 1 met Windows 7 de grootste vrede, zij vindt het de beste Windows ooit.
Dus waar jij problemen mee hebt is mij dan onduidelijk.

Ja ik vond het niet snel werken omdat ik er niet aan gewend was. Ik heb geen zin om het aan te leren want ik werk veel met programma's enzovoort.
Je zal op gegeven moment toch over moeten, omdat XP uit 2001 is en er steeds meer programma's zullen komen, die niet compatibel zijn met XP!
Bovendien haalt XP bij lange na niet alles uit je hardware.
En is het zo, dat je grootse probleem het startmenu is van Windows 7, dan zijn er tools waardoor je in Windows 7 het XP-startmenu krijgt!
